On his MSNBC show Wednesday Chris Matthews called Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) a terrorist. When one of his guest, Republican strategist Steve Schmidt, said he wasn't "comfortable" with that word, Matthews qualified the term, saying he meant that Cruz is a "political terrorist." Not a real terrorist, but simply a "political" one.
