Uh Oh: Weiner May Have Just Leaked Major News About a Hillary 2016 Run

During a sit-down interview with Buzzfeed's Ben Smith, Anthony Weiner said he knows what his wife's role will be in a Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign, but he's "not telling." That's a big admission because it seems to be the first open verification of a Clinton run. And now the Clinton camp is firing back at Weiner saying it has no idea what he's talking about.

"Do you know what her role in Hillary's 2016 campaign is going to be?" Smith asked presumptively.

"I do," Weiner responded.

"What will it be?" Smith continued.

"I'm not telling you," Weiner replied smugly.

Clinton’s spokesman Philippe Reines responded to the news in what the New York Post called a "curt" email, saying he has "no clue" what Weiner is talking about. The Post also says Weiner's spokeswoman tried to downplay his comment as a "joke."
