In an email to supporters on Monday, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus touted the RNC's unanimous vote Friday to block NBC and CNN from participating in the 2016 GOP primary debates.
"The liberal media executives are losing," the letter begins. And later: "Not only did we unanimously pass the resolution, it took just days for 60,000 committed conservatives to stand with us by signing our petition online. Now, the company initially scheduled to make the Hillary mini-series has said they won’t produce it. We’re not done fighting."
The "company" referenced in the email is Fox TV Studios, which was said to produce a four-hour miniseries based on Hillary Clinton's life for NBC Entertainment. Fox TV Studios backed out of the project Friday.
For its part, CNN announced last month that it will produce a documentary on Clinton complete with a theatrical release.
The RNC boycott of CNN and NBC only takes effect if both outlets move forward with production.
