Sorry, It Seems That Will Smith Stunned Family Photo Was Too Good to Be True

It was just too good to be true.

While Miley Cyrus did indeed give a jaw-dropping risque performance alongside Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night, the widely-disseminated image of Will Smith's family's seemingly horrified reaction to it was not, in fact, to be.

The Smith family -- Will, wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, and kids Jaden and Willow -- was actually watching Lady Gaga perform and seemed to be enjoying the show. What looked like an open-mouthed gape from daughter Willow was actually because she was chewing gum. Pinkett-Smith seemed to be scratching her nose, not covering her mouth in disbelief.
