Bill Maher Thinks the Tea Party Opposes Obama on Syria Because of This

Controversial comedian and talk show host Bill Maher appeared to accuse Tea Party supporters of racism on Saturday night for their alleged opposition to President Obama's decision on Syria.

"Kudos to Barry for restoring constitution re war powers," HBO's "Real Time" host tweeted.

"Tea Party shld luv it but of course wont cuz President Blackenstein did it," he concluded to his 2-million-some followers.

On Saturday, President Obama announced he would seek congressional authorization for a military strike on Syria, following the Assad regime's recent use of chemical weapons.
