Chilling Surveillance Video Shows Man Robbing Convenience Store With Rifle...and Gorilla Mask

Oklahoma police are on the hunt for a man seen on surveillance video robbing a convenience store late last month — while wearing a monkey mask.

Video released by Oklahoma City police shows a man who entered the Western Food Market on Sept. 29 armed with a rifle and wearing what appears to be a gorilla mask.

The man, brandishing the firearm, can be seen ordering the clerk to open his register and empty the cash into a bag. The clerk, with the rifle pointed at him, is then ordered on the floor and complies.

The suspect then fled the store, stealing some cigarettes on his way out, police said, according to KFOR-TV.

Police say the clerk was not physically harmed during the encounter.
