We at TheBlaze like to think of ourselves as benevolent news providers. But something has given Facebook pause when dealing with our content.
Our reader Toby M., who we hope has located a place to charge her phone, received an alert Sunday evening when trying to access one of our stories by way of a link she saw on Facebook.
"This link might be malicious," read the warning. "Please follow it with care."
The link was for a post by Liz Klimas on "the rights you have when interacting with a police officer." We assure you, it isn't malicious.
Contacted by email, a diligent Facebook representative told TheBlaze Blog the link was mistakenly classified as spam. He said it has since been fixed.
