A Texas man who escaped police custody Saturday evening later called 911 on himself because his handcuffs were too tight, authorities said.
DeSoto police arrested Dyonta Rose, 29, for allegedly having a backpack full of narcotics, KTVT-TV reported. He then managed to escape, after the arresting officer left him alone.

But, the 29-year-old seemingly had a hard time freeing himself from the pair of handcuffs around his wrists.
Hours later, Rose was forced to ask for help and dialed 911, complaining that his new metal bracelets were too tight and, thus, cutting off circulation in his arm.
Authorities responded and police took him back into custody. The 29-year-old was charged with a litany of crimes, including possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence and escape, according to KTVT-TV.
