Jailed Dad's Shocking Confession: 2-Year-Old Son Got Mellower After Toking on Marijuana Pipe

Lucas Keith Wilson was booked into the Gallatin County Detention Center in Montana on Friday after being charged with single counts of endangering the welfare of a child — one felony and one misdemeanor.

The odyssey that led Wilson to a jail cell began more than a year ago. It included Camilla Rose Samuels, who was living with Wilson in a Bozeman, Mont. trailer when Samuels discovered she was pregnant.

And the sad tale also involved Wilson's 2-year-old son.

In January 2013, the couple started drinking and using marijuana and methamphetamines — including in the presence of Wilson's boy, according to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.

During Samuels' second trimester, Wilson tested positive for drugs, and the couple was evicted from their house. So they took off for Washington state, and they continued using marijuana and meth.

When they figured they'd return to Big Sky Country, the couple planned to distribute pot and meth on the trip back — but instead they consumed all the drugs they had by the time they rolled back into Montana.

In Bozeman they said their dwelling was a tent at the Sunrise Campground.

Then, with Samuels' iPhone in record mode, Wilson's 2-year-old son was reportedly videotaped putting a smoking pipe in his mouth. The iPhone clip was discovered last Aug. 8 by Samuels' mother, who reported it to investigators but said she was unsure if the boy had ingested any drugs.

The couple told investigators they allowed the boy to smoke marijuana five times after their return to Bozeman.

Wilson said his son would get mellower after smoking pot, adding that he didn't know why he let him smoke marijuana and that it was pretty stupid thing to permit.

Wilson also told investigators that while the couple was in the hospital for the birth of their child, the pair would smoke marijuana outside of the hospital.

The couple's baby tested positive for marijuana and meth when he was born.

So Wilson and Samuels were each charged with single counts of felony and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child late February.

Wilson and is being held on a $50,000 bond, the Daily Mail reported; no warrant was issued for Samuels, according to the Daily Chronicle.

There was no report as to the whereabouts of either of Wilson's sons.
