Hacked Printer Churns Out a Full U.S. Constitution in Less Than 10 Seconds

Have you ever been on the road and thought, "Darn, I wish I remembered to bring my Constitution today?"

Sure, a significant number of people now have smartphones and could pull one up digitally in a matter of seconds, but there's something about old-fashioned paper products that makes the U.S. Constitution shine.

If you were in this predicament and near artist Thibault Brevet's new creation, dubbed "CONSTI2GO," you would be in luck. Brevet hacked a receipt printer to churn out all 4,543 words in less than 10 seconds.

Each time the button is pushed, a Constitution is printed.

According to The Verge, the modified printer debuted at South By South West in Austin, Texas, this week.

The work was commissioned by Jeff Goldenson for LABRARY.bike
