They Pulled a Gun on Him — But This Pizza Delivery Driver Had One of His Own

A pizza delivery driver is probably thankful he had a license to lawfully possess a firearm, after he used his gun to defend himself against two would-be robbers Saturday night.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the Jet's Pizza driver was making a delivery to two individuals posing as customers. That's when one of them reportedly grabbed him and another pulled a handgun on him, demanding money.

The driver then pulled out his own gun and shot at the suspects, police said, before dialing 911.

The suspects fled the area in a vehicle.

One of them, Clarence Sanders, 27, was eventually found at a local hospital, suffering multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Detroit Free Press. He was reportedly arraigned Monday on an armed robbery charge.

The second suspect was arrested by police Monday night and a warrant is being prepared for his arrest, the Detroit Free Press reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
