The Supremely (More) Idiotic Thing a Drunk Driver Did That Got Him Arrested

While any way a drunk driver is safely taken off the streets is a good way, the way a Michigan man was thrown in the slammer Sunday certainly qualifies as idiotic on his part.

The unnamed 66-year-old man from Livonia drove up to the Pittsfield Township public safety department around 6:30 p.m. Walking into the building, he asked for a place to use the restroom. It was determined at the station that the man might be intoxicated.

He was asked to take a sobriety field test, according to the Ann Arbor News, and failed, at which point a Breathalyzer test determined he was officially over the legal limit.

The man was taken to the county jail to sober up and could face charges for driving under the influence.
