Pinette appeared in movies including "The Punisher" and had a trio of stand-up shows released on DVD, but he was perhaps best known as the carjacking victim whose plight the "Seinfeld" stars videotape and lampoon until they're arrested for failing to help under a new "good Samaritan" law.

Agent Nick Nuciforo says Pinette had been working on another stand-up project when he died.
