Camia Gamet, 31, was convicted of first-degree murder in the stabbing and beating death of Marcel Hill, but only rolled her eyes and laughed while the victim's family members spoke out, WXYZ-TV reported.
Jackson County Circuit Court Judge John McBain made clear he would not tolerate Gamet's behavior in the courtroom.

"You're gonna shut your mouth or I'm going to have some duct tape put on it," McBain said.
Hill was stabbed 11 times, WXYZ reported. Gamet had a history of violence against him.
"You gutted him like a fish," McBain said. "You stabbed, you stabbed, you stabbed, until he was dead. ... I agree with the family, I hope you die in prison. You know, if this was a death penalty state, you'd be getting the chair."
