Radio talk show host Mark Levin slammed comedian Jon Stewart Tuesday night over a skit on Israel that the conservative pundit said amounted to “propaganda in the form of jokes.”
“I would like to educate Jon Stewart and his clapping seal studio audience,” Levin said.
Stewart said Monday night on his show that he understands everyone has “strong opinions” regarding the most recent conflict, but contended “merely mentioning Israel or questioning in any way the effectiveness or humanity of Israel's policies is not the same thing as being pro-Hamas."
That didn't sit well with Levin.
“If Hamas had the weaponry that Israel had, nuclear weapons and other weapons, Israel would cease to exist," the conservative pundit said, noting Israel has the military capability to take out the entire Gaza Strip, but hasn’t.
Levin added that if Hamas had the weaponry Israel does, the Jewish State would have been wiped off the map by now.
