"It was a little odd to be inspired by the words of cannibals"
Would you eat a hamburger that approximates the taste of human flesh?
If you answered "yes" to that question, you might need to jump on a jet to England next week. A pop-up restaurant in London will be handing out free "human burgers" on September 30.

And you get the foundation ingredients for a promotional stunt that claims to have created a hamburger that approximates the taste of human flesh.
Since cannibalism is illegal England, the chefs researched the writings of cannibals and came up with the ingredients. Many of these quotes can be seen on promotional materials distributed by the Fox network.

When TheBlaze reached out to Tomlinson and Cakehead for comments and additional clarity on the event, Miss Cakehead responded. She told TheBlaze that chef Tomlinson created the special mix of ground veal, beef and pork to "recreate the sensation of eating human flesh."
She added, "We will be giving them away FREE on the 30th September from noon until all gone."
The quirkiness of the promotion was not lost on Tomlinson, a chef known for promoting fresh produce. In a press statement about the big event, Tomlinson noted, "it was a little odd to be inspired by the words of cannibals.”
If you have a hankering to try one of the "human burgers," the free food is being given away at a pop-up restaurant in East London. The exact location will be shared with Tomilson's twitter followers (@terminustavern).
