Fox News Hosts Facing Backlash After Jokes About Female Pilot: 'Boobs on the Ground

"Hey ISIS, you were bombed by a woman."

UPDATE: Fox News host Eric Bolling apologized for his off-color remark.

Fox News hosts are fielding criticism after making jokes surrounding a female United Arab Emirates fighter pilot who is helping lead efforts against the Islamic State.

On Wednesday, hosts of "The Five" discussed Major Mariam Al Mansouri, a 35-year-old from the United Arab Emirates, who participated in the nation's recent airstrikes, with cohost Kimberly Guilfoyle praising her participation.

"Hey ISIS, you were bombed by a woman," she said. “I hope that hurt extra bad, because in some Arab countries women can’t even drive."

But a few jokes from her male peers that followed have critics speaking out.

"Problem is, after she bombed it, she couldn’t park it," said cohost Greg Gutfeld.

Fellow cohost Eric Bolling added, "Would that be considered boobs on the ground or no?"

The Huffington Post decried the jokes as "sexist." Read some of the other responses on Twitter below:
