Astronauts in Space Put a GoPro Camera Inside a Floating Ball of Water...Just Because It's Cool
November 05, 2014
"That is wild."
Who can forget when Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield demonstrated how fascinating the simple act of wringing out a wet wash cloth could be in space? Though Hadfield is now back on Earth, that doesn't mean the fun on the International Space Station has stopped.
European Space Agency astronaut Alexander Gerst and NASA astronauts Steve Swanson and Reid Wiseman were inspired to put a GoPro camera inside a floating ball of water and filmed the result from outside the ball — and inside.
"That is wild," one of the astronauts said.
