Just last month, former MLB player Jose Canseco shot off his finger while cleaning his gun and had it surgically reattached. Then, this week, the middle finger of the Cuban-born outfielder, who last played for the White Sox, fell off ... while he was playing poker.
An Oct. 29, 2014 photo posted on Jose Canseco's Twitter page shows the former major league baseball player recovering at his Las Vegas home with his fiancee, actress and model Leila Knight, after Canseco shot himself in the finger Tuesday. (AP/Courtesy Jose Canseco)
In a series of tweets, Canseco, who in the past has been particularly vocal about his political beliefs on Twitter, shared that his finger fell off during a poker tournament Thursday.
I knew something crazy was going to happen with this dam finger cause it felt like it was falling off.

My finger should have been amputated from the beginning. It was very loose with no bone to connect it.it was also smelling really bad.

Canseco wrote that his agent bought the rights to the video, but it does not appear to have been released yet and it is unclear if Canseco will ever let it loose.
As of the time of this posting, Canseco hadn't tweeted any more updates as to the condition of his finger.
