Obama Spotted Chewing Gum While Speaking to Yet Another World Leader

President Barack Obama was spotted by the White House press pool early Saturday in Australia chewing gum while speaking with British Prime Minister David Cameron.

The press pool noted that Obama was waiting for the start of a G-20 Summit meeting while chatting with Cameron and chewing on the soft, cohesive substance.

On Wednesday, Obama was seen "chewing gum" as he stepped into a meeting with China’s National People’s Congress Chairman Zhang Dejiang.

Reporters had previously spotted the president “chewing his Nicorette” during the opening remarks at the Asia Pacific Economic Corporation summit early Tuesday morning.

Obama’s gum chewing seemingly bothered some while he visited China.

“We made this meeting so luxurious, with singing and dancing, but see Obama, stepping out of his car chewing gum like an idler,” Yin Hong, a professor of journalism at Beijing’s Tsinghua University, wrote earlier this week, according to USA Today.

Obama, who has struggled with smoking throughout his life, is a well known user of Nicorette, a type of gum aimed at helping individuals kick the habit.
