San Francisco police found "dismembered parts of a human being" inside a suitcase Wednesday, authorities said.
The gruesome discovery was made inside a roller bag in the South of Market area in the evening. More body parts were found in the immediate area, officials said, according to the San Francisco Gate.

“Investigators are still searching to determine if there are any other body parts in the area,” police spokesman Grace Gatpandan said. “This was an extremely gruesome crime scene.”
Authorities were searching the nearby area, reviewing surveillance footage. Homicide detectives had a rough description of the suspect, Gatapandan said, but had not released it, the San Francisco Gate reported.
