Texas Cops Were Driving on Interstate When They Made Observation That Had Them Hitting Their Brakes

Officers in Fort Worth, Texas, were driving on an interstate when they came across a small dog in the middle of the highway and sprung into action.
Immediately hitting their brakes, Officers Allen Speed and Paul Garcia exited their squad car and set out on foot to retrieve the stray dog.

"They stopped, set up a temporary road block and rescued the little girl," the department said in a statement that accompanied the video.

The dog is now up for adoption at the local Humane Society.
