Are the media's liberals in lockstep on the issue of Hillary Clinton using a private email account to send and receive official government communications.
Not exactly.
On HBO's "Real Time" Friday night, liberal media mogul Arianna Huffington said Clinton's response to the media bodes poorly for her presidential aspirations.
"The problem is not so much the emails," Huffington said. "It's the way that Hillary responds to the press. There is that sense that somehow the press is always out to get her and she cannot stand it."
Huffington criticized Clinton for looking "so pissed" at her Tuesday press conference and "she looked as if she would rather be anywhere else."
But, echoing John Kerry, host Bill Maher disagreed with Huffington, laughing off the email issue as "stupid, infantile bulls**t," and saying Clinton had demonstrated she could "take [the media's] beating like a man."
In fact, in Maher's estimation, Clinton's appeals to "simplification" and "convenience" were understandable.
"But you weren't secretary of state!" Huffington protested.
The one thing the pair could agree on: Mocking Republican claims that Clinton's email server could contain new information about Benghazi.
