Listen to Ted Cruz's Answer When He's Asked on MSNBC If He Would Sign Iran Letter Again

"Oddly enough, the administration leaks more details about the deal to the media than they actually inform Congress."

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was pressed by “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezisnki on Tuesday over the Senate GOP’s letter to Iran regarding ongoing nuclear negotiations with the United States. But when Cruz was asked if he would sign the letter again, he had a defiant response.

“I would sign it in large print so that the ayatollah wouldn’t need his reading glasses to read the signature,” Cruz said.

Earlier in the show, Cruz said the letter was intended to defend America's national security and the Constitution and to "stop a bad deal" currently being proposed by the Obama administration.

He also admitted that Congress does not have all the details of the Obama administration’s Iran proposal.

“We have some that the administration has leaked. Oddly enough, the administration leaks more details about the deal to the media than they actually inform Congress,” Cruz added.
