This Is Our Fight': Here's Ted Cruz's First Campaign Ad

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) unveiled his first campaign ad Friday, invoking the "transformative love of Jesus Christ."

"God's blessing has been on America from the very beginning of this nation," Cruz said, narrating over a series of stock footage. "Over and over again, when we faced impossible odds, the American people rose to the challenge."

"This is our fight, and that is why I'm running for president of the United States," the conservative firebrand concluded. "I'm Ted Cruz and I approve this message."

Cruz was the first to announce his presidential ambitions in what is expected to be a crowded field for the Republican nomination.

At the time of publication, the ad had just over 4,000 views on YouTube.
