GOP Congressman Gets in Heated Exchange With Immigration Protester: 'I'll Drop Your A**

"Don't, don't touch me. Don't, don't touch me."

A Republican congressman threatened to get physical after being confronted by an immigration protester over the weekend following an event in Simi Valley, California.

"If you touch me again, I'll drop your a**," Rep. Stephen Knight (R-Calif.) told the protester. "All right? Don't, don't touch me. Don't, don't touch me."

"I shook your hand!" the man responded.

"One more time, Mike," the congressman, a veteran and former cop, told the individual.

The exchange was uploaded to YouTube and shows a group of individuals holding "stop illegal immigration" signs confront the congressman over his regarding President Barack Obama's executive immigration action.

Knight insisted throughout the incident that he did not vote for amnesty.

After the video was circulated online, Knight said he did "regret" his actions.

“I have dealt with this group on several occasions and every time they try to escalate our conversations to a level that is not constructive,” Knight said in a statement. “Over this past weekend, I lost my cool and I regret responding the way I did.”
