An incredible display of American pride occurred prior to a Saturday softball game between University of Louisiana-Lafayette and Baylor.
It all started when an announcer told fans in attendance that there would be no national anthem in order to save time because it was the third game of the day.
That didn’t sit well with the patriotic fans — so they sang the national anthem themselves. Watch the video:
Cajuns fans, upset that the national anthem wouldn't be played a second time today, just started singing. Awesome. pic.twitter.com/5jLsLTDU9d— Luke Johnson (@LukeJohnsonAdv) May 17, 2015
As Sporting News reports, Louisiana-Lafayette went on to win the Lafayette region of the NCAA Softball World Series Tournament.
