Man Caught on Video Dancing on the Roof of Sheriff's SUV, Stealing American Flag: The Reason Why Is Even Crazier

"Made the conscious decision to get the Sheriff of Nottingham."

A Florida man's dance moves had him in the spotlight — and not the good kind — as video of him getting down on top of a county sheriff's SUV parked in a driveway is going viral. The suspect's reason for doing so though is even stranger.

The incident on the Lee County Sheriff's Office SUV happened in early April, but video was released just this week. It shows a man, later identified as 44-year-old Christian Radecki, dancing on top of the vehicle as music from his own car blared in the background. The man, after several minutes of dancing proceeds to take an American flag from a neighbor's yard.

Radecki, a convicted sex offender, according to WPTV-TV, was arrested by Cape Coral Police and charged with disturbing the peace and criminal mischief.

The reason he gave police for dancing on the sheriff's car in the first place is an interesting one to say the least. The news station reported that he said a "woman with fangs" informed him of an impending vampire sacrifice that would prey on children. He apparently said he went to the sheriff's home to inform him of the attack.

"Therefore, Radecki made the conscious decision to get the Sheriff of Nottingham to help him stop the slaughter of small children," the police report stated, according to WPTV.

Radecki at the time of his arrest told police he was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. WPTV reported that he doesn't have any known mental health conditions either.
