Krauthammer Thinks 'It's So Insane' a 'Phobia' Has Prevented Authorities From Pursuing This

"It's so politically correct."

Conservative political pundit said on the Fox News Channel Friday that "it's insane" law enforcement doesn't target mosques to gather intelligence about potential threats to the homeland.

Speaking on the cable-news network's "Special Report," the syndicated columnist contended law enforcement was paralyzed by a "phobia."

"That's [the mosques] exactly where you have to go. It's so politically correct," Krauthammer said. "It's so insane not to do that because you'd be afraid of a biases or a prejudice. These shooters are not randomly chosen from the population."

"You'll get the information from the mosques," he added. "In the end, the only way you're going to counter this, is by having Islamic radicalism defeated in the field."

Thursday's attack on military personnel in Chattanooga, Tennessee, left four Marines dead. It is currently being investigated as a case of domestic terrorism.
