Photographer Insulted Conservative Pundit. But, It's the Follow-Up Comment That's Really Astonishing

"...rude and unacceptable."

Conservative pundit and TheBlaze TV host Dana Loesch is used to receiving hate mail. So much so that she has an entire segment on her program dedicated to reading it. But, the stories don't usually end like this.

On Thursday night, photographer Eric Smith, who freelances for the Associated Press and Houston Chronicle, sent a nasty comment to Loesch.

"So, did posing like a hooker at Circus Circus on the cover of your 'book' sell an extra five copies? Asking for a friend," he wrote.

Smith, deleted the tweet (and later his account), but a screen grab was preserved by Loesch.

Things, however, took a turn when Smith contacted Loesch on Instagram.

"As a matter of fact, Dana, I will apologize," he wrote. "My 'comment' was rude and unacceptable. And to put my money where my mouth is, name a charity regardless of political persuasion or otherwise, and I will donate $200 to it in the morning. Deal?"

Loesch accepted his offer.

"Thank you," she replied. "We don't always have to agree, but we can coexist peacefully, right?"

Loesch concluded, asking Smith to donate to the Gatehouse, a women's shelter which aims to help those fleeing abuse.
