When Asked About the Donald Trump Hat in His Locker, Patriots QB Tom Brady Gives an Answer

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady confirmed to reporters on Tuesday that there was a “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker and offered some words of praise for Donald Trump.

Rather than shy away from Trump and the controversy that sometimes surrounds him, Brady said the billionaire is a good friend and has done some “amazing things.”

While his remarks still fall short of a flat-out endorsement for president, having the Super Bowl-winning quarterback in his corner can't hurt Trump's chances.

The relationship between Brady and Trump became an issue after a reporter photographed the hat famously worn by Trump in Brady’s locker.
