Greta Van Susteren Sends Trump a Message After He Attacks Fox News Following Interview With Her
September 22, 2015
"This is baffling."
Fox News host Greta Van Susteren penned a message to presidential candidate Donald Trump Tuesday morning, telling the real estate tycoon to ease up on his criticism of the cable-news network.
In a post published to her blog GretaWire, Van Susteren told Trump to "give it a rest!"
"I (Fox News) had just given you a fair, opened ended questions interview at 7pm and minutes later (right after 8pm) you tweet Fox is not fair! I don’t get it!" she wrote in the blog post's title.
Van Susteren then wrote she was confused by Trump's attack on the network.
"This is baffling," she wrote. "Just minutes before Donald tweets that Fox is not fair, I gave Donald Trump a FAIR interview on FOX NEWS. This is what I get in return for a fair interview?"
Trump never criticized Van Susteren directly Monday and it seemed most of his frustration with the network rested with host Bill O'Reilly. The billionaire has also been a frequent guest on Van Susteren's program over the past few years.
