Anthony Weiner Live-Tweets Benghazi Hearing — and One Part Leaves Him Surprised: 'Wow\
October 22, 2015
"For reference..."
Former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner live-tweeted on Thursday portions of Hillary Clinton's testimony before the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
Weiner, who is married to top-Clinton aide Huma Abedin, kicked off his tweeting by presenting a question to his approximately 26,200 followers.
Soon after, something caught his attention and left him surprised. Weiner found it unusual that Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) questioned Clinton on the Sidney Blumenthal emails.
"Wow," he tweeted.
Other tweets from the former congressman were laden with snark.
Clinton's testimony before the Benghazi committee Thursday came after months of anticipation.
