Following a lackluster performance in last week's GOP debate, the presidential campaign of former Florida Republican Gov. Jeb Bush rolled out a new slogan over the weekend, declaring, "Jeb Can Fix It."
The new slogan got an official launch in Florida Monday.

This past weekend, during an appearance on "Meet The Press," Bush reinforced the new tag line.
We can’t just give up & settle for gridlock in Washington. I’m running for president because I know I can fix it. https://t.co/mC16thGD1p— Jeb Bush (@JebBush) November 1, 2015
Almost immediately, reaction to the new slogan began popping up on social media. Bush's fellow GOP candidate Donald Trump was one of the first to chime in.
Jeb's new slogan - "Jeb can fix it". I never thought of Jeb as a crook! Stupid message, the word "fix" is not a good one to use in politics!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump)November 1, 2015
Conservative commentator John Podhoretz joined those who thought the new slogan was not a good idea.
I don't want to pile on, but "Jeb Can Fix It" may be literally the worst slogan I've ever heard— John Podhoretz (@jpodhoretz) November 1, 2015
The Atlantic's David Frum was among the many who noted the similarity between Jeb's new slogan and a song from the popular kids' show, "Bob The Builder."
“Jeb can fix it!” Where have I heard that before? Oh yes … https://t.co/WWs3nBr7mD— David Frum (@davidfrum) November 1, 2015
Twitter was buzzing with speculation on things Jeb can "fix."
