Asked What She Thinks of Clinton, Sister Souljah Pauses, Then Pulls Out Envelope With This Inside

“I want to control what I say so that I can be quoted properly."

Hip-hop icon Sister Souljah blasted Hillary Clinton Thursday, telling Time the likely Democratic nominee reminds her of the "slave planation white wife of the white 'Master.'"

Souljah, promoting her sixth book, was asked by the publication how she feels about Clinton. According to Time, she paused and took out an envelope in response.

“I want to control what I say so that I can be quoted properly. I have this past history of being misquoted or misunderstood," she said.

The political activist then took out an index card and slid it across the table, according to Time.

It read, “She reminds me too much of the slave plantation white wife of the white ‘Master.’ She talks down to people, is condescending and pandering. She even talked down to the Commander in Chief, President Barack Obama, while she was under his command!”

Souljah, of course, is no stranger to going toe-to-toe with the Clintons.

In 1992,  doing an interview about the Los Angeles riots, she famously asked, "If black people kill black people every day, why not have a week and kill white people?” President Bill Clinton blasted her for the remark — a remark that Souljah told Time she still stands by.

“If you ask me my view, even if it’s not your view, you have to handle that,” she said. “Don’t tell me I hurt your feelings. I’m not your kindergarten teacher.”
