‘Insulting to Voters in Iowa’: Carly Fiorina Mercilessly Slammed for 11-Word Twitter Message

"Seriously??? Who does this???"

Carly Fiorina earned some scorn on Twitter Friday.

The former Hewlett-Packard CEO tweeted that she would support the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Rose Bowl instead of her alma mater Stanford Cardinal.

"Love my alma mater, but rooting for a Hawkeyes win today," she tweeted.

Within moments, Fiorina was blasted for using the Rose Bowl to pander to potential voters in Iowa.

The Iowa Caucus will take place on Feb. 1. According to the Real Clear Politics average, Fiorina is in ninth place in the state with 2.3 percent.
