CNN Reporter Asks Barbara Bush for Her Thoughts on Trump — and She Offers 'Very Strong' Response

"You dodged me on Donald Trump. Do you want to go full New Jersey on him?"

Barbara Bush is "sick" of Donald Trump.

The former first lady unloaded on the Republican presidential hopeful in an interview Friday with CNN.

Bush, who hit the campaign trail with her son Jeb this week, was asked for her thoughts on the billionaire businessman who has, thus far, dominated the 2016 race.

Describing the race as "slightly shocking," Bush assailed Trump for a number of things.

"He doesn't give any answers on how he'd solve problems. He sort of makes faces and says insulting things," she said. "He's said terrible things about women. Terrible things about military. I don't understand why people are for him. I'm a woman, I'm not crazy about what he says about woman."

Pressed to reveal more about what she thinks of Trump, Bush said, "I don't think about him at all. I think about Jeb, the qualified candidate."

"You dodged me on Donald Trump. Do you want to go full New Jersey on him?" the reporter asked.

"No. I do not. I don't even think about him. I'm sick of him. That's very strong," Bush replied.
