Watch as Chelsea Clinton Commits Awkward Bernie Sanders Mix-Up While Campaigning for Her Mom

An awkward slip.

Chelsea Clinton had an awkward moment on Wednesday.

While campaigning for her mom in Minnesota, Hillary Clinton's daughter accidentally called Bernie Sanders, Hillary's top opponent for the Democratic nomination, "President Sanders."

Clinton was speaking to a crowd about her mom's support for a bill that would repeal immunity from gun manufactures — protection she said "President Sanders" once voted for.

"I hope not 'President Sanders,'" Clinton quickly said after realizing her slip, as the crowd chuckled at her mistake.

Clinton has been campaigning hard for her mom in recent months, but this isn't her first rodeo. Clinton also spoke to hundreds of colleges across the United States when her mom was campaigning for the White House in 2008.
