Could this detail highlight a problem that Rubio and Cruz might have in reaching the Latino voter base?

As previously reported, Donald Trump won a landslide victory in the Nevada Republican caucus Tuesday night, receiving almost 46 percent of the vote, including one vote from Eduardo Gonzaleza, a Cuban-American who reportedly supported Trump over Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who are both Cuban-American.

Does this detail highlight a problem that Rubio and Cruz might have in reaching the Latino voter base? Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., seemed to think so:

But as BuzzFeed’s senior political writer McKay Coppins pointed out, the sample size only included a mere 135 Latino voters.
