Caitlyn Jenner has made a splash in recent days after slamming Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and expressing support for Republican contender Ted Cruz, with the transgender reality TV star even volunteering to be Cruz's so-called "trans ambassador."
But there's just one problem: the Cruz campaign hasn't taken Jenner up on the offer, leaving the "I Am Cait" star a bit "surprised."
"We have to keep our country strong and a constitutional country and that's one of the reasons I liked him because of his views to fix the country, not his views in trans issues," Jenner recently told the Daily Mail, going on to repeat the offer to be an ambassador for Cruz. "We're all here ready to go."
The TV star continued, though, expressing a bit of shock, saying, "Have they contacted me? No. Which I was kind of surprised."

Jenner also made it clear that an endorsement has not yet been given by the reality star to Cruz, explaining that there is simply a liking of the candidate based on his perspective about the key issues facing the nation.
"I never said I endorsed Ted Cruz. I said I like him," Jenner said, referencing previous comments about Cruz. "He is a constitutionalist and I think we have to get out country back to something like that."
Despite having favorable opinions of Cruz overall, Jenner did say that the candidate would likely not be good when it comes to LGBT issues.

"Out of all the candidates I also feel that as far as the LGBT community [is concerned] he would probably be the worst," Jenner said. "And need the most help."
