Larry Wilmore Hits Obama With Brutal Joke at WHCD — but Check Out the Word He Uses to End His Racially Charged Set

Comedian Larry Wilmore’s set at Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner was predictably edgy and racially charged, resulting in more than one uncomfortable moment. He also closed by using the n-word to refer to President Barack Obama.

“Welcome to negro night, or as Fox News will report, ‘two thugs interrupt elegant dinner in DC,” Wilmore said following Obama’s remarks.

The “Nightly Show” host had plenty of praise for Obama, but also a few brutal zingers.

“It looks like you’re really enjoying your last year of the presidency. I saw you hanging out with NBA players like Steph Curry…It kind of makes sense too because both of you like raining down bombs on people from long distances.”

Wilmore later joked that Obama’s hair is now “so white, it tried to punch me at a Trump rally.”

“The president’s hair is so white, it keeps saying ‘all lives matter,’” he continued.

He ended his comedy monologue with the n-word.

“If I’m going to keep it 100 — yo Barry, you did it my n*****.”
