New Trump ad paints Clinton as too sick to lead country

"Hillary Clinton doesn't have the fortitude, strength or stamina to lead in our world."

A new advertisement from Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump depicts his Democratic counterpart as too sick and lacking the "stamina" to be president.

The television spot includes clips of Hillary Clinton coughing and being helped up slippery steps by campaign aides in February.

It also features a clip of her stumbling as she was helped to a black SUV following a 9/11 memorial service. That medical episode sparked an onslaught of criticism and conspiracy theories regarding Clinton's health and how the campaign handled her pneumonia diagnosis.

"Hillary Clinton doesn't have the fortitude, strength or stamina to lead in our world," the voiceover in the ad states. "She failed as secretary of state. Don't let her fail us again."

The ad contrasts Clinton's health with the "daunting challenges" the next U.S. president will face — including the rise of the Islamic State and "North Korea threatening."

The 30-second spot, titled "Dangerous," will run throughout the U.S., especially in battleground states, Trump's campaign told USA Today.
