A Los Angeles Times reporter tweeted Thursday that he would "rather see Donald Trump's life end." The early morning tweet, which was sent out by Steven Borowiec, a reporter who covers North Korea and South Korea for the Times, and has since been deleted, was reportedly responding to a tweet from Time magazine, which read, "See Donald Trump's life in photos" and included a link to images from throughout the billionaire businessman's life.

The Seoul-based reporter later deleted the tweet. In a separate tweet, Borowiec apologized for his comment, saying he was only joking.
A spokeswoman for Tronc, which owns the Times, did not immediately respond to TheBlaze when asked to comment.
