Watch: Marine disguised as Santa surprises son at school following long deployment

A Virginia elementary student on Friday had his wish granted by Santa Claus on the spot.

With just a week until Christmas, one first grade classroom at an elementary school in Stafford, Virginia, received a surprise visit from Santa. The man disguised as Santa was Marine Staff Sergeant David Rescott, who recently returned from an eight month deployment in Kuwait, according to WTTG-TV.

He used the opportunity to surprise his son, Jackson, about his return home.

According to WRIC-TV, once it was Jackson's turn to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas, he wished for a new Xbox and his dad to return home.

That's when Rescott began to remove his costume piece by piece to reveal a bit of "Christmas magic."

"I think I have a bit of Christmas magic for you," Santa told Jackson.

There's no doubt Jackson was suprised. With his jaw wide open, he embraced his dad and said, "I love you."
