U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will deliver a speech on peace in the Middle East tomorrow morning, the State Department announced today.
The speech comes on the heels of a controversy over the U.S.'s response to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which bans Israel from continuing to build settlements on land claimed by the Palestinians.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a key part of what Kerry will address, a spokesman said.
"In his speech, the secretary will lay out a comprehensive vision for how he believes the conflict can be resolved in the Middle East," State Department spokesman Mark Toner announced today.
