Woman has a botched abortion at a Planned Parenthood clinic. This is what happens next.

An unnamed woman receiving abortion services at what's being reported as an "unlicensed" Planned Parenthood clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio, suffered a seizure during the abortion on July 27.

A video published on Wednesday by Operation Rescue claimed that the woman, as a result, had to be taken to the emergency room.

The video claimed that rescue services arrived at the clinic after receiving an emergency call that a 20-year-old woman went into "violent" convulsions during the abortion procedure.

“At this time last year, we had recorded only 14 medical emergencies at Planned Parenthood abortion facilities. 2017 looks like it will be a record-setting year, but that certainly not the kind of record we want anyone to set,” Operation Rescue President Troy Newman said in the video. “However, we know we don’t hear about every incident, so we know the number of women suffering life-threatening abortion complications is actually much higher.”

He continued, “Given that this facility was operating under an expired facility license at the time of the emergency, this Planned Parenthood should be closed pending a thorough review by the Department of Health."

Operation Rescue reported 26 medical emergencies as a result of "botched" abortions at Planned Parenthood clinics so far in 2017.
