Amid hypercharged #MeToo environment, liberal org PETA hosts 'Sexiest Vegan Next Door' contest

PETA, an organization that fights for the rights of animals, is holding a "sexiest" contest amid the ever-evolving #MeToo environment.

What are the details of this?

The organization is hosting a "Sexiest Vegan Next Door" contest for all of the sexy vegans out there.

According to its website, "PETA’s 2018 Sexiest Vegan Next Door contest will be broken down into two rounds: the entry round and the finalist round, during which finalists chosen by a PETA panel will be voted on by the public to help PETA determine the winners. You can enter the contest during the entry round only."

To be considered a finalist, PETA looks for those exhibiting "enthusiasm for vegan living," as well as an appealing physical appearance — or what PETA says is "the quality of the image you submit."

To win the prestigious male and female title of "Sexiest Vegan Next Door," PETA looks at the "total number of votes" a finalist receives, as well as "enthusiasm to win the title as demonstrated" by "promotion of your entry via social media," "enthusiasm for vegan living as demonstrated" by "responses to the entry questionnaire," and — of course — the organization's "assessment of the quality" of the submitted image.

According to its website, the contest has been going on since 2015.

What do the winners get?

Two winners will be chosen, and each will win a trip for two to Hawaii, which includes round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations for eight days and seven nights.

Some of the current finalists include a plant-based nutritionist, a gym teacher, a sergeant first class in the U.S. Army, a social media influencer, a drag queen, and several first responders.

On May 21, the winners will be announced.

Good luck and Godspeed.
