Ocasio-Cortez lashes out at anti-Israel protesters demanding she say the word genocide: 'It's f***ed up man!'

Socialist Democrat Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez of New York lashed out angrily at protesters who were demanding she use the word "genocide" to describe the Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip.

The protesters recorded video as they chased an increasingly angry and frustrated Ocasio-Cortez at a movie theater in Brooklyn.

"It’s not okay that there’s a genocide happening and you’re not actively against it," said a protester on the video.

"You're lying!" she shouted back.

Ocasio-Cortez rushed away with her fiancé, Riley Roberts, but the protesters continued to hound her.

"If you can’t say it, just say it. Literally. We’re just talking to you like normal people. Just say it’s a genocide. Just say it. Over 30,000 people are dead AOC, you can’t just say it for once?" a protester demanded. "Just say the word, that’s it. That’s all we want you to say."

The figure is from a dubious report from the Health Ministry in Gaza, which is run by Hamas terrorists. President Joe Biden said in October he had no confidence in the figures from the organization.

Ocasio-Cortez accused the protesters of intending to deceptively edit the video they were obtaining of her.

"You gonna cut it and take it out of context, I already said that it was!" she yelled. "And y’all gonna just pretend like it wasn’t over and over again."

The protesters continued to chase her to the sidewalk outside of the theater, where she yelled at them once more.

"It’s f***ed up, man! And you’re not helping these people!" she yelled. "You’re not helping them!"

Critics of the socialist Democrat didn't appear to have much sympathy for her plight. At least one pointed out her own defense of protest tactics when used by the left.

"The whole point of protesting is to make ppl uncomfortable. Activists take that discomfort w/ the status quo & advocate for concrete policy changes. Popular support often starts small & grows," she wrote on social media in December.

Ocasio-Cortez was previously excoriated by the left in 2021 when she voted "present" instead of voting against a bill that would provide funds for the Iron Dome defense system in Israel.

"To those I have disappointed — I am deeply sorry. To those who believe this reasoning is insufficient or cowardice — I understand," she responded at the time.
