Hunter and VP Joe Biden had secret dinners with Russian, Kazakhstani, and Ukrainian oligarchs in DC: Report

Then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden had clandestine dinner meetings with oligarchs from former Soviet Bloc countries in private rooms in a D.C. restaurant, the New York Post reported.

The vice president's favorite restaurant, Café Milano, was home to dinners featuring Russian, Kazakhstani, and Ukrainian business people who either met with Joe Biden or Hunter Biden to allegedly gain access or work out money deals.

“During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine. It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself,” a statement from Republican James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee said.

There were reportedly "meals at Café Milano where then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with oligarchs from around the world who had sent money to his son.”

According to Hunter Biden's laptop, he had a dinner with Vadym Pozharskyi, an executive of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, at the restaurant in 2015.

Another report noted that each one of the associates allegedly attended at least one of two dinners at the cafe with both Bidens.

“It’s clear Joe Biden knew about his son’s business dealings and allowed himself to be ‘the brand’ sold to enrich the Biden family while he was Vice President of the United States," Comer's statement continued.

President Biden continues to deny any business discussions with "anybody." Fox News reporter Peter Doocy confronted the president about being on speakerphone with his son during overseas business discussions.

"There's this testimony now where one of your son's former business associates is claiming that you were on speakerphone a lot with them talking business," Doocy said. "Is that —"

"I never talked business with anybody," Biden interrupted. "And I knew you'd have a lousy question."

Hunter Biden's web of business deals allegedly totaled over $20 million, including more than $8 million from Chinese energy corporations, $3.5 million from the first lady of Moscow, $6.5 million from Burisma Holdings in Ukraine, and more than $3 million from a Romanian real estate tycoon.

As well, bank records also revealed that Hunter Biden recieved $142,300 from Kazakhstani businessman Kenes Rakishev. That amount was transferred to Hunter Biden in 2014 for the purchase of a luxury car.

Reportedly, just one day after the money was received, it was promptly transferred to a New Jersey car dealership.
