Tlaib turns on own by urging Democrats to vote against Biden in Michigan primary, stumps for progressive org threatening to help Trump

Rep. Rashida Tlaib – the Democrat from Michigan – turned against her own party's leader and called on voters to go against President Joe Biden in the state's upcoming primary.

Tlaib urged Michigan Democrats to vote "uncommitted" in the state's Democratic presidential primary. Tlaib – who is Palestinian American – is going on a campaign against Biden over his administration's handling of the war between Israel and Hamas.

"It is important, as you all know, to not only march against the genocide, not only make sure that we're calling our members of Congress and local electeds and passing city resolutions all throughout our country – it is also important to create a voting block, something that is a bullhorn to say enough is enough," Tlaib said as she stood outside the Ford Civic Center in Dearborn, Michigan.

"We don’t want a country that supports wars, and bombs and destruction, we want to support life," Tlaib continued. "We want to stand up for every single life killed in Gaza."

"I want you to think of all of the amazing young children and the people, again, lives were lost in Gaza. This is the way you can raise our voices. Don’t make us even more invisible. Right now, we feel completely neglected and just unseen by our government. If you want us to be louder, then come here and vote uncommitted," the progressive politician proclaimed.

Tlaib did not mention that Hamas terrorists started the war by invading Israel on Oct. 7, took an estimated 240 hostages, and murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis – including hundreds of civilians as well as children.

The video was shared by the Listen to Michigan campaign, which has a self-described mission of strongly rejecting "Biden’s funding war and genocide in Gaza" and sending the president a "clear message" in Michigan's Democratic primary by voting "uncommitted."

The pro-Palestinian organization is so committed to opposing U.S. aid to Israel that it even hints at enabling former President Donald Trump to win the key state of Michigan in the 2024 presidential election.

"Trump only won Michigan in 2016 by about 10,000 votes," the Listen to Michigan website reads. "Uncommitted Michigan Democrats opposed to Biden’s policy in Gaza can demonstrate that we hold his margin of victory for re-election. Biden must earn our vote through a dramatic change in policy."

"President Biden has been a successful candidate in the past by representing a broad coalition, but right now he’s not representing the vast majority of Democrats who want a ceasefire and an end to his funding of Israel’s war in Gaza," the site states. "He’s not representing the young people who put him in office and turned out in the midterms — and are now out protesting his policies in the streets."

Tlaib has been a regular critic of the Biden administration's role in the Israel-Hams war.

Tlaib told Biden in December, "I say this over and over again because I hope you hear me. You might — you must listen to the voices of the majority of Americans and the majority of Democrats, who worked their butt off to get you elected. You have to represent all of us, Mr. President. Not just some. Call for a ceasefire now.”

The Michigan Democratic primary is on Feb. 27.
